Born Alfredo Bowman on November 26, 1933 in Ilanga Village in Spanish Honduras, Dr. Sebi came to the United States as a 20-year-old self-educated man who was diagnosed with asthma, diabetes, impotency and obesity. After unsuccessful treatments with conventional doctors, Sebi was lead to a herbologist in Mexico.
Finding great healing success from all of his ailments, he began creating a natural compound from electric foods geared for intra-cellular cleansing and the revitalization of all the cells that make up the human body.
Inspired by the personal healing experience and knowledge he gained, he began sharing the compounds with others and gave birth to the USHA Research Institute, The Fig Tree and the Healing Village.

Dr.Sebi’s is useful to certain economic brackets in the black community, To the poor blacks he’s useless because the poor blacks cant afford to pay over $1000 dollars a month for his organic herbs. If he cant find a way to get these herbs for all income brackets of the black community, then whatever he’s saying is a waste of time. I think all he wants to do is to get rich and to feed his giant ego. To have a all female apprentices is nuts when he’s a man and a healer duh….lol… Think!

What u are saying is pure psychotic, What u first must do is to get control over the food supply, U first must deal with the root of the problem, Instead of telling your people to jump over hoops that white folks creates for us to jump. Tru dat brotha! If peopele really wanted to get the products, they should take the time, use their heads & gather the loot together instead of beefing about the overall price. The other option is FASTING & just getting a box of the maya(24 for $380)…It’s real easy to spend useless dollars on non-food(especially drug injected meat) every week(which separates the person from themselves). Dr. Torry has been missing in action since 1999. A lot of misfortunes fell his way (that I won’t share here). It wasn’t the government who shut him down. In came from within his own camp!

I was seeking Dr. Donald Torry because I had a very negative experience with Dr. Sebi’s people/representatives. I was literally BEGGING to give them my money; I wanted to go to the USHA Village and I wanted to purchase some products after RESEARCHING the company and the man. They took down my info, but NEVER called me back, NEVER responded to my NUMEROUS emails, and NEVER returned my voicemail messages! I was disappointed, to say the least. Always with BLACK Businesses! WHY???

would anyone happen …
would anyone happen to know what happened to Dr. Donald Douglas Torry? This is a brother as well who preached about holitic health, but I believed the FTC shut him down for his Nature’s Cleanser productc back in 1993.
I have an old DVD with him speaking in St. Croix, but I can’t find anything about him on the web.
